I wrote Omega Children a couple years ago as response to seeing and reading some really bad Science Fiction. Why couldn’t anyone understand the way A.I. would REALLY work? The way it is normally depicted in movies and books makes no sense. A sentient computer would have a maturation process, just like any advanced living organism. It would need to learn to hear, learn to speak, learn to organize thoughts and learn to live- just like anything else "alive".

Omega Children is a way I envision this happening.

The version I wrote some years ago had a kind of drop off ending, leaving the readers in a "well... wait.. what’s next?" state.

I self published at the time, allowing friends and family to pick up the book and share it- not looking to "make money" off of it per se. It received a number of excellent reviews and very positive feedback- but I’m ready to fix the ending and wrap up the story as it should be done.

So, as it stands, i’m 95% complete with the book. All that remains is the final chapter. The encouragement of the community who has read the book as it is, leads me to think many others of a wider audience would enjoy the story- so that’s why i’m here. I look forward to the experience of working with this great community. Thank you.
