Hello! My name is Christopher, Chris for short. Looking back on things, I always figured myself a storyteller. As a young child I never had many friends, and because of that I went within myself. I delved into books, movies, video games, and it helped spark my imagination. There were days I would go into my backyard, luckily being large enough for any sort of adventure. And I would play out these tales. Tales of heroic knights, stoic heroes, brave souls, and adventurers of all caliber, the only prop being a wiffle ball bat. And during those days I would make these stories and fulfill them. Then, as I got older, I got into Tabletop gaming. I have mastered some games, whilst also taking part. However I always put my best effort towards the creation of either setting or characters. I figured that the people I was with deserved the most I could offer, and it was always a fun time. I also took part in theatre, exploring characters in depth, and harnessing it to create performances that would impress an audience. Funnily enough before I went to college they wondered if I was majoring in theatre (spoiler: no, I didn’t). Now, as a mere 20 year old, I have decided to step into storytelling of a new level. And hopefully this does something for me and becomes something I can explore.

New Neon Nights started funnily enough as an idea for a music album. I pictured a psychedelic synth pop project that had an overarching narrative within. However it’s really hard to make music when you can barely even read notes. The idea ended up sitting on my computer for a year before I found it again rummaging through my laptop. At first I figured that it could be continued to be made into this music, but then a thought struck me. Why not make the story I wanted to communicate, or at the very least the idea, into writing. Now admittedly writing things down has always been a struggle. Usually they just stay in my head before they try to come out. But I thought that maybe it was a risk worth taking.

So, reader who has not written this off yet, I ask that you help shape this. I’m not even sure that this could be something I can pursue in the future, and if I can get support, people to help mold the story into something great, then maybe it can inspire me to make more stories to share with all of you.

Thank you all, Chris.
