Just a Reminder kids, you can buy Murder House Warriors on Amazon.  Its a rip roaring modern adventure about killing zombies and trying to stop the Apocalypse.

Tell your friends.

So I tried with Inkshares and got a lot of pre orders, thanks all very much for that support, but unfortunately I didn’t quite get to the point where I would be published through inkshares. Still though 111 followers seems like a lucky number, a very lucky number. So... I decided to Roll the dice. I have put Muder House Warriors on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing.

Having done this I feel adrift on a great sea in a very small boat.

Writing is hard work, very hard work and I think having completed Murder House Warriors I think I have an inkling of how to go about that work. I have a system for writing now, I know a bit about how not to waste work and I think I have good ideas on how to use these skills to tell stories with my ideas.

I will move on to tell those stories.

At the same time I have written Murder House Warriors and it stands complete as it will ever be on Amazon. I am very proud of this story and I don’t ask you to purchase it what I do ask is that you go ahead and spread the word that its there and maybe someone who wants to read it would read it either through their Kindle unlimited subscription or through the relatively cheap price of $2.99

I remember saving up my lunch money when I was in my early teens to buy second hand paperbacks for about that price. So that’s pretty cool.

Thanks again all and stay tuned for more stories.

Hi Readers,

I have a couple of updates for you. My wonderful Editor who works for baby pictures Colette has helped me to polish the text even further. Those of you that have not read the first three chapters (Prologue & Chapters 1&2) I would really appreciate if you did. Primarily because I welcome feedback. I want to know what you think.

Also I could use some advice on promoting the book. I've contacted my local libraries, bookstores and comic book stores but they haven't replied to me. I'd like your help reflecting on this and also am I marketing the book correctly?

So I need your help there. What can I do differently to get the word out there?

Thanks folks

Hi Readers,

Have you ever stood on the edge of a diving board, the branch of a tall tree over water or, in my case, a pile of hay, and been afraid to jump? I was a kid that was physically reluctant to put himself in harms way, and terrified of heights.

As I grew older I had less and less issue with physical pain and had zero issues putting myself out there, on stage, presentations at work, meeting customers were all no problem.

In starting off putting together my reading appointments I find myself with that feeling of reluctance again. I'm eleven years old again watching Adam O'Hara do back-flips twelve feet down into a pile of hay made from broken bails and I can't follow.

Any advice you all could give me in places to read, and how to approach it would be great. I am going to bite the bullet and do it. I've worked on what I'm going to read too, which brings me to my next point.

At the suggestion of my amazing editor Colette, who I will never be able to thank enough for everything she's done on this book and all my writing. I have moved chapter 2 and made it the prologue. We believe this has far more impact. I also have a chapter I wrote for an earlier draft that goes back to the kingdom of Lagash and explains in more detail how the vampire god Nergal came to be.

Anything else would be an anti-climax.

If you haven't read the chapters that are on Inkshares I of course encourage you to. If you haven't Pre-Ordered yet please do, its free. If you haven't told your friends about Murder House Warriors, I get that, its not easy to promote a book about vampires and zombies to people.

One of the themes of the book however is faith. Not faith in an obtuse, religious sense, but faith in just something that simply resonates with you. You have to really believe in something in this life or you're lost, its part of what makes us human. I believe in my family and I believe in love and I believe in stories and their power to change the world.

I believe in this story too.

I guess in the end that is what will motivate me to go and face the librarians and bookstore managers of New England and start to schedule readings.

Thanks

John

As it stands I have 60 pre orders, my New England tour will be starting next week hopefully, from this I might have a video to share! Thanks all of you for the help, support and encouragement. If you have friends you think would like the book just go ahead and tag them on facebook on twitter or just email them, I have found that to be 100% more effective than just posting, when you address people directly they pay attention. At this point I've asked everyone on my facebook that I feel comfortable asking. Spreading the word is helpful from here that and going to make a spectacle of myself in public. Wish me luck. -John

Dear Readers,

I have sold 30 pre order copies of Murder House Warriors but I have 70 readers I think getting a 10th of the pre orders I need in a tenth of the time I have to complete the campaign would be stellar!

I have quite a bit of inkshares credit so if you have a project going on the site I will be sure to support your campaign if I can.

Thanks so much and read the book and give me feedback please.

Regards

Dear Readers,

Murder House Warriors is in Pre-Order! Tell your friends! I only have one friend he's a small white Dog called Hackett but I've told him and I'm patiently teaching him how to use the internet so he can get his pre-orders in. This book is a tremendous achievement for a guy who has four kids, is going to school and works full time as an engineer. I was raised however to believe that if you can do something to make the world a better place you should do it.

This book is just my way of expressing who I am and leaving my take on life to echo after me when I move on. I'm not James Joyce and I don't pretend to be. I just wanted to tell a story about the people you care about and how they become your family and how the crap you go through together makes you close, so close you'd die for them. Also I like vampires, zombies and blowing stuff up. I'm pretty excited, come one, come all:

Hello Readers!

I have just this second uploaded chapter ten of Murder House Warriors to Inkshares.

Ten is the last chapter, the book is complete.

Before I switch it to pre-order I will need to read it out loud to my poor wife and step daughter and polish it as I go. Once this process is complete I will be starting my campaign to get it pre-ordered and published.

There are thirty five of you, the little gesture you made in following this book and telling me you liked my idea was instrumental in my pushing the project to completion.

Thanks

John Willis Clarke

Dear Readers,

Thanks again for the support Inkshares has been an inspiration for me if just for the fact that a few really cool people with who share my passion for stories might think I had an interesting idea. Progress on the Inkshares draft of Murder House Warriors is going great, to give you an idea of what has to happen right now its a paragraph by paragraph rewrite of the draft before with a lot of cutting out and some contextual changes its a quicker process than that of inception. As I write this I'm in finals having gone back to school and my wife is expecting our second child, my eldest stepdaughter just started college, in short there's a lot going on, but I'll find the time to finish the draft and get you the story of four outsider kids from a nowhere town that take on a dark god with the power to end the world.

With the hope that even one of you might read it.

Faithfully
