I am an educator at heart. I am a teacher and I love my job. Being in this profession you have lots of time to talk. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to talk. I love to talk and tell stories. My dad has been a story teller for as long as I can remember, so maybe that is why I have decided to write this book. But more likely it was because of a competition with my older brother. He told me he was going to write a book so I decided that if he can do it, then I can do it. The process started at a sprint, we both were off and writing. Then a few weeks down the road it slowed. Quickly we realized that this was no simple feat. Then I began researching online and come to find out that for every book that is published there are hundreds, if not thousands, that will not only not be published, but will never be completed.
At this point, more then ever, I take this as a challenge with myself. I knew that I wanted to be part of the small few that actually finish a book. So that is what I am doing. I am in the process of finishing my book. Yes, it still needs editing. Yes, I still have to complete it. My promise to you is that I will complete it, and in a timely manner.
The Earth had finally reached its breaking point. Life sustainability becoming impossible, forcing all of human kind to come up with a solution. The outlook was bleak, options were few, but the answer came. For many decades the moon was thought to be uninhabitable. But NASA had developed the spaceships capable of transporting enough supplies to build not just a small settlement, but enough that they could build a new world. They started with the Capital city. The city of Sperare. Quickly they realized that time was running out and that one city would not be enough. They then begin building separate Sectors. They are in the process of Sector 4 when Earth finally gives up. The last remain on the planet are brought in and everyone is forced to settle in.
Among the mass population, Joe and Matt are a couple of teenagers who; Go to school, Go home, hangout with each other, and repeat over and over. Then, after they are taught about exploring the moon’s surface, they decide to break a few harmless rules and have there own adventure. That is when, one again, the Human race is in jeopardy of extinction. Something goes horribly wrong. As a whole, just years after the transition to the moon, human kind must come up with a solution. One that does not wipe the spices from the face of the universe.
This is my first attempt at a synopsis of any kind. Any feedback is welcome. For the synopsis as well as for chapter one. Chapter one was written a long time ago and had not undergone final edits.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I am available to answer question and would love to hear from each and everyone of you.
