Lorna O’Shene is a young modern woman with work, family and relationship issues who also has to deal with her legs transforming into a fishtail at the most inconvenient times. Unable to get answers from family and friends about the nature of this transformation, Lorna seeks out the help of marine biologist Dr. Kitt Dawson and soon finds herself falling head over fins. As a scientist, Dr. Dawson is torn between his head and heart, between logic and love when he encounters in Lorna something that he can’t explain -- Is Lorna a mermaid or something different, someone new? "Mermaids of Glendale" is a romance, a comedy, a mystery. Is Lorna a mermaid of mythology or of biology, the latter as much a process of transformation as falling in love?

"Mermaids of Glendale" explores a fundamental concept: We’re all familiar with stories of a mermaid becoming human, but what if it worked the other way?
