Laughing Through the Nightmare is a vision of our impending dystopian future. Humanity has become dependent upon a servant race, all money has been equalized, and all jobs have been turned over. All that is left is to sit on the `Net all day, every day.

• Who am I? A technology professional from the Midwest that has loved reading and writing since I was in single digits.
• I awoke one evening from a nightmare I had of what I feel is the return of the red tide. True Communism, as Marx described. The worker revolution isn’t what we imagined.
• How can readers help you shape your draft? I have a very rough outline, and have thoughts about what needs to be said. Mostly what I need is encouragement. During the course of this contest I will be posting snippets as I begin to flesh out this story. So check back often, if you start to share my nightmare maybe we can all wake up laughing.
