This book (and the ones planned to follow) come from my D&D campaigns and the way my character developed a life of her own from the backstory I had to make because apparently I was doing it all wrong! lol. Turned out all right in the end because she really came to life.

The biggest help would be in writing the accent. I want the dwarven feel but I want it to be subtle so it doesn’t interfere with the flow of reading. This chapter doesn’t capture it and will need to be edited, but I think I’m getting the hang of it in later chapters. Tips are welcome. So far, I’ve decided to be speakin’ like this, I did. Cut off some ’g’s and use the flow of the speech more so than the spelling. I do a pretty good job when I’m speaking it I think, but getting it on paper is tough.
