I wrote Know It All with the humble intention of creating a literary baby fathered by William Gibson and Christopher Moore’s influence. I have tried to introduce a protagonist who knows the answers to all the inane and impossible questions that beleaguer the human race while telling a story about how this simple man with far too many insecurities might live with these unthinkable pressures.

The story centers on David Baxter, the most introverted human in existence. David has spent an inordinate amount of time and effort shutting himself off from other humans on this planet for one simple reason. He knows entirely too much about everything he will ever experience with any of his five senses.

Know It All contains hard scifi, pessimistic philosophy, adventure and a contradictory inner monologue massaged by a protagonist aware of too much, but at the most inopportune times, too little. His hand is being forced by a group outside physicality and substance, observing and taking advantage of the three-dimensional simpletons it sees spread throughout. David is about to meet someone who may be able to finally explain his perception while he fights for his life and the surprisingly honest purpose of the universe around him.

I’ve included Chapter 1 , Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 here for your review.
