Keeper’s Legend -- Champion’s Trial follows Adam Masters, the Champion of the Underworld, on his rebellion against his very mission: Bring back the souls of those trying to escape an eternity after death by making unholy deals with demons.

But Adam isn’t happy with his existence, and his rebellion against his mistress, the Keeper of the Underworld, will ultimately lead to severe consequences, threatening to not only upset the balance of life and death, but might just be enough to awaken an ancient evil from its eternal slumber.

Together with a ghost that refuses to stay dead-dead, a half-dead fixer, and an as of yet alive cop, Adam has to figure out a way to stop the world from burning down, stay one step ahead of a detective turned demon, and try his best to not die yet again and face the Keeper in the Underworld. All the while struggling to maintain what little of his own humanity is still left within him.

It’s loosely based on ancient beliefs, ranging from Sumerian legends to ancient Greek tales, bringing a modern twist to myths of old. It features lost souls, dragons, zombies, corrupt(ed) cops, hellish good deals, elder monsters, and (of course) an epic struggle between light and dark that’s been going on since the infancy of time.

And the best part: the hardest portion of writing the story is already done! The entire 85645 word first draft has been sitting on my desk for the better part of the year, just waiting to be finalized and released into the wild.
