Who am I?

I am an avid writer, with a focused goal on a single story. When my life slows down, I plan on starting a video blog to chronicle the triumphs and pitfalls I have learned along the way.

Where did the idea come from?

Derek’s story began from my own recurring dream. This dream coupled with boredom between high school and college (the draft is well past the decade mark) helped me travel down a path and create a story revolving around a fun cast of characters. I’ve enjoyed uncovering the journey these characters have taken and am excited to keep working on each of them.

In its current form, book 1 is a draft of 670 pages. There are plot points and minor details for a full series of roughly 8 books.

What can you do to help shape this draft?

Constructive criticism is always appreciated. For the story’s long life, it has been peer reviewed by few people outside of myself. What I want is to have the entire rough draft edited and reviewed to improve it and tell the version of the story that truly matches my vision and is entertaining for the reader.
