On January 1st of this year, I was struck by the reality that I couldn’t actually call myself a writer if I didn’t make writing part of my routine. Other writing contests like NaNoWriMo made me feel on edge if I couldn’t make the daily word count needed to stay on track, so I decided to set myself a different challenge at a more leisurely pace: Write at least 100 words every day and see if I can’t get a novel out and on paper (or in a word document as the case may be) in one year. That’s what this is.
