Illusion of Choice is a science fiction book that will the world in two hundred years when Officer David Warren of the World Government of Earth must join the underground resistance he fought to suppress after an attempt on his life by other officers, but he soon realizes that no side is truly black or white.
The novel spans two timelines: one that focuses on the distant future where a tolitarian regime has seized much of the world, and the other focuses on the rebuilding after a plague has reduced the world to utter chaos.
With this book, I try to avoid politicking too much. I don’t propose solutions that isolate ideologies, but I try to pose questions that any side should be asking, namely what defines what is right and what is wrong? I believe that question is more subjective than we’d like to admit.
With the funds raised, I will ensure the book is edited and refined as well as start research on the next in the series.
I would like to evangelize the rest of my writings while I promote this Illusion of Choice, namely the other three books in the series. I have begun work on Book 2, and I’d like to see a quick turnaround with that if there is interest.
