As Margaret Hopscon wakes up from a nightmare, she realizes, it’s already day, with children from neighbourhood playing in the snow, which got accumulated in the patio of the house. That view reminds her of the time when she was a lone child and how much she wished to have a sibling. Her parents were always hesitant of a second child, until one fine day, when Margaret had her most eager wish fulfilled when she got her brother, George Hopscon. George was everything for Margaret, her brother, her child, her family. Margaret’s world revolves around George, until a day Stefan Salzburg, a rich millionaire businessman and also an alumnus from the same school as Margaret, came into her life. Though not attracted to him initially, Margaret found hard to steer clear of him, as he made her feel the most special person in the world, a feeling, which Margaret had not experienced in years.
While Margaret is deeply engrossed in this thinking, Stefan arrives at Margarets house, all set for the outing. George all excited for the trip, runs to Margaret to take her along, on seeing Stefan, Margaret still finds hard, to stop thinking of how her life took steep turns in the past few weeks, where she lost her parents, she was about to lose her brother too, and she was about to loose Stefan as she mistook Stefan behind all these atrocities and broke up with him. It is only when Margaret comes to know of an investigation, done by her brother George, that, not only did Stefan left no stones unturned to keep them safe, but in the process also risked his life, as he was beaten to death, while trying to resolve this mystery surrounding Margaret’s past, Margaret feels extremely guilty and reunites with Stefan. Now that she has Stefan and George, safe besides her and everything to worry about is over, she breathes a sigh of relief, only to realize that this is just the beginning, the real hurdle lies ahead where Margaret comes to know of her lost reign in Metcalfe kingdom of Yorkshire, which she still has a dilemma about, whether to accept or not.
Whatever be the decision, Stefan pledges to stay besides Margaret and promises to keep her and George safe for the rest of his life, with the first step in that being, make them forget these atrocious occurrences of the past weeks and keeping them cheerful and happy, with the journey he has planned, as the first step towards his responsibility.
