Matt has always wanted a pet.  He has looked everywhere to find a special pet.

One day Matt looked out the window and that was when he saw it – a turkey.

Matt couldn’t believe it.  It would be great to have a pet turkey.  They would have so much fun together.

“How am I going to get the turkey to be my pet?” Matt wondered.

Matt had a choice:  he could try and catch it by surprise or he could try to give it a treat.  Matt had to decide what would be a good choice and what would be a bad choice.
