So I’ve been working on the story and I think I’ve had a bit of major inspiration. By moving a scene I’ve allowed myself to deepen the story, add a few new characters, and add quite a bit length to the writing. Things are progressing slowly but surely, and I’m excited to see where the project goes now.
In other news I am going to be living in Wales for a few months. I leave in 2 week and hope to get quite a bit of writing done while I’m there and hopefully discover some new inspiration. The town I’m staying in is quite small so hopefully, there will be less distractions and more opportunities to write!
Hello to all the readers who have taken the time to follow my project! I have recently had a good amount of beta reading going and have started reworking Canalway. As it stands, it is only a 16,000 word story. Barely even a novella really. I’m working on expanding it and editing some of scenes that are a bit cliché in Lovecraftian writing. I’ll be sharing snippets as I go along. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the work and in the end it reaches the goal of being a standalone story. If it falls a bit short I have 2 other stories I’m working on of a similar length that could be added to expanded the story into a collection of fictions. Thanks for following my project!
