Entering Anna's world is a fun and exciting place to go when you are ready for a mental vacation from your own troubles. Roberts is able to mix intense vulnerability and loss with laugh-out-loud humor; it's an instant favorite!

I read an early version of House of the Broken Promise two years ago, and I STILL think about the story. Lovely writing, relatable but interesting characters, edge-of-your-seat story. I hope Sonja Roberts will write more books like this!
