"How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala?"  Want to know why this particular reference?  Pre-order Hellrazor and find out!  Under the new Quill imprint on Inkshares, I'm only 100 orders or so away from earning ebook printing on Inkshares!  If you can, please order a copy.  If you've already ordered, but have spare credits, please consider boosting your count and bring the story home alive.  Thank you all for your support, no matter the outcome, I've been very humbled and blessed to have had so many consider this project.

Hey everyone!  I've not posted in awhile and attention to my project has not moved forward much, unfortunately.  But I've picked up a lot of new followers, who I hope I can entice to pre-order and share my project following this message.

The landscape is changing on Inkshares and it will be to my benefit, I hope.  The Credit generating mechanism in Inkshares have changed to the following:

  • $5 for any new reader to Inkshares
  • $5 for any reader’s first review of a project
  • $10 for any referral of a project that leads to a purchase. These will be capped at one redemption per project, meaning you can continue to earn credits by referring books across the Inkshares platform, but can only earn referral credits once on any individual project.
  • $10 for backing any project that hits 2K copies ordered, and then another $10 if that project hits 5K copies ordered

Also, and most exciting, perhaps for me, I can get published by selling 250 copies.

On October 30th, the "dollar" amounts will go up, so right now and until the 30th of October, you can still use your credits to pre-order at $10 a copy.  On the 30th, the rate will go up to $20.

So now is the time to get a copy or add more copies.

Thanks again for all your support and I hope we get this novel on paper!

Hello, everyone.  I've uploaded a new chapter to the tale, this time going all the way back to the beginning:  the Preface to Hellrazor.  I'm staying with the project to the end and hope I can get this book published under the "normal" rules of Inkshares, and hope you all will continue to help me by sharing the project on Facebook and Twitter and, if you can spare the Inkshare credits, ordering more copies of the book.  I believe you can order up to 10 copies that will "count" towards the total and, as you know, I need 1000 pre-orders to guarantee publication.   Thanks and I hope you enjoy the latest upload, "Long Live The King".

Check out my profile page for a short story from the Hellrazor world, a savage tale of Ahlgrim Thale, the First Hellrazor:  In the Shadows of the Everwoes!

I once again thank you all for support and encouragement.  We're heading into the final stretch.  Here's a fresh chapter to read, Chapter 23-Molly.  For all of you who can, please preorder a copy and move me up in the rankings.  Thank you for reading!

Once again I have to humbly thank you all for following the project and for so many of you who have so generously pre-ordered copies and left such kind words.  I hope all of you following the project will dig into the tale and if you can spare the credits, please pre-order a copy.  I'm making progress in the rankings, but I still have a long climb ahead.  Thanks for reading!

Yes, this book IS in fact as intriguing as the synopsis.  It is epic, intense dark fantasy of the highest order.  Don't hesitate to buy it.  And when it arrives, strap yourself in and be prepared to be up until dawn.  I've been a fan of Ken's writing for awhile now, and plan on bragging about that fact once the wider community of readers begins to truly take note.

Once again, I humbly thank you all for your continued and growing support.  I can't say enough how much I appreciate it.  Today, I uploaded a new chapter for you to take a look at, Chapter 21 - Sewerside (a brief journey into Chicago's dark underbelly....).  I thought now might be a good time to offer up some inspiration as to where the hell Hellrazor "comes from".  It is likely no small wonder that I'm a fan of pulps, especially The Shadow.  For two-fisted tales of blazin' action, you can't out do that dark crusader.  But from a writing standpoint, Robert E. Howard remains my "mentor".  Crisp crackling action and brooding men of action.  It is clear to anyone who has read them, that Longinus shares a branch of the same family tree, perhaps, as Solomon Kane.  But the biggest general influence on this work is probably Moorcock's "Eternal Champion" serials.  For the longest time I wanted to write in such a world--create a World-- where there was a continuity of character with a vastness of scope.  Then it hit me like an anvil:  the Centurion who put Christ out of his misery.  A ready made myth of an immortal "man" (and perhaps Christianized version of Cain) upon which to tell two-fisted tales of righteous fury and heroism against the most vile Evils threatening Mankind.  From that fiery furnace, was Hellrazor forged.

The Hellrazor mythos (if I can coin that) allows me a rich and varied texture upon which to story-tell:  mythology, history, four-color superheros, horror.  Conspiracy theory (I can't help myself).  In many ways, the may tales of the Hellrazor universe are an attempt at what I call the Unified Field Conspiracy Theory--a multiverse juncture where Cthuhlu crosses Christianity and the Devil beckons Time Travel and a man made immortal talks himself into become Arthur Rex and clandestine government agencies seek to weaponize vengeful ghosts.  Yeah, it's crowded in my head.

I hope you enjoy the read.  Please share as best you can - I need all the help I can get, to climb into the top rankings, and the competition is ever-growing and intense.  If you haven't pre-ordered, I ask you to consider and to encourage others to, as you see fit.  But mostly, I thank you so much for reading and following the project.

I'm up over fifty!  Thank you, to those who've put me there.  I'm still not in the Top Ten, yet, so I need all the help you can spare.  Please share the update on your pages, if you can.  And if you can, please pre-order and encourage anyone you think would like the tale to pre-order, too.  I've uploaded a new chapter, in the "modern" age of Hellrazor's history, called "Monkeyshines".  Give it a look and let me know what you think.  Thanks, again for all your support.

I just added a short tale from the Chronicles of Longinus called Shootout in Sure Would.  You'll find in on my Inkshares profile page.
