Haven’s Bureaucracy is the second on the series of Haven novels. Yes, I know that the first novel isn’t in publication yet, but that hasn’t stopped me from continuing to write them. As a testament to my devotion to the series, I felt the need to show everyone that the series isn’t just a one hit wonder, or a whimsical fantasy of a hobby.

The idea for the series came from an old role playing game campaign with an average guy from our world being thrust into a magical realm. In creating Haven I made it a parallel to our own time, but with magic instead of technological advancements. If you get a group of nerdy young people together, they will find a way to be gamers; it is a fundamental fact of all known universes. I personally found the idea of a group of gamers who could actually use magic to be highly amusing. Hopefully you will as well.
