Hello Reader/Writers! This is our first update! Quoting Robert Frost, "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep..."
Honestly, there is still so much to do in order to make this book great. However, we did add an appealing background and book cover today. Most important, we took the advice of someone who just recently had his book project funded, and we wrote a completely new Chapter 1. This means the original Chapter 1 will be revised and turned into Chapter 2, and so on and so forth. Thanks for the advice, G!
The cool thing about Sea Foam is that my co-author, Marlena Berbano, and myself already sat down and wrote the entire book a few summers ago. The hard part now is just telling a story that fits the theme and ideals we want to impress upon our readers.
I will tell you this much, this is the birth of a new little mermaid. This isn’t the Disney version, and while it is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid, this isn’t very much of his story either. It is 100% HERS.
