Soil: the Paradox wars is a story about a planet called Soil, a cube shaped world cover in bizarre life; Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, and giant lizards so huge, cities are carried on its back; a living continent, filled with intelligent germs.

At the beginning of life, Humans and other similar species, began to develop philosophy and contemplate things in life, like “the unknown”. This line of thinking greatly angered the God of Ignorance. Where most gods gain power from people in the form of worship and acknowledging their existence, the God of Ignorance gains his power from people not knowing he exists; the more people who disregard ignorance, the stronger he becomes. He tries to kill all intelligent life on Soil but is somehow stopped and forced to retreat to the endless void of space. The details of his defeat are lost to history.

Thousands of years later, the God returns, gaining much power after his tale of destruction has turned to myth. He quickly wipes out all life on the planet with an army of mindless robots.

This is where out story begins, the Last Human, named Finnis goes back centuries in time to desperately try to prevent the return of ignorance, at a point in time of a cultural Renaissance. He knows that some sort of event in this point in time is what trigger the eventual downfall. He uses his advanced technology to help him uncover the mysteries. Meanwhile, at that same point in time, Dawn, the first Human,awakens in an ancient temple. Having been asleep for thousands of years, not remembering how she got there or why. Only remembering her constant nightmare of the God and hearing him taunt her with his return. The two must Band together, Finnis with his advanced science, and Dawn with her ancient magic, to defend their world and save it from ignorance and an enemy not yet known to them. The potential enemy is the Watchman, a being of unknown origin, popping up constantly in time. A self proclaimed defender of the timeline, he travels throughout history using a magic pocket watch, stopping other time travelers from changing their fate. He is in hot pursuit of the duo trying to stop them from changing the fate of the world.
