" The idea of replicating conscious human thought in a machine has been around since the Greek myths. From the first A.I. research conference in 1956 to IBM’s Watson and the onset of artificial assistants like Siri and Cortana mankind has made progress in leaps and bounds. In the year 2040 the first "Android assistant" was made ready for mass release. Over the course of the next decade various models were created. The latest models are so advanced they look almost indistinguishable from humans. This is the world in which model EV-122 comes online. Sold to a wealthy family in the suburbs of St. Louis, she was like any other EV model. Except she wasn’t. Called Evelyn by her "owners", EV-122 has begun to exhibit strange tendencies. Tendencies that are beyond basic imitation programming. What she doesn’t know is that she is about to embark on a journey that will change the way we think of what it means to be human."

Hi everyone! I am Pierce White, an aspiring author out of Texas. This story actually came about from a conversation i had with my brother about the effects of advanced A.I. on the world economy and how we as humans perceive life. Essentially how will humans react to a fully artificial life form capable of free thought. I’m always interested in feedback so if any reader ever has anything please let me know.
