Freedom is an illusion. If you believe otherwise you are a fool. But that doesn’t mean that Freedom isn’t worth fighting for. Many would agree that the illusion of freedom is far better than no freedom at all.

Our forefathers revolted against those in power and tried to establish a government that could protect the freedoms of individuals and carry out the will of the people.

Nearly a hundred years later tensions over these civil liberties had created distinct factions who were willing to fight and die for their beliefs. Civil war ensued. The Union stayed whole.

And now almost 200 years later Modern Governance is nothing more than a sham maintained by self serving politicians and their corporate sponsors. Your civil liberties are disappearing under their “protective hand”. The government has lost it’s true purpose, if it had ever truly understood it in the first place. Their power has escalated far beyond what it should ever have been allowed to. They have polarized Americans behind two Ideologies that very few actually believe in. While both sides consider the other to be the enemy. And anyone who refuses to get behind either side? Might as well be garbage.

The people no longer have the Power. If they ever really did.

Michael Kaine wants to change that, by any means necessary. He will do what he needs to do for the good of the union.

This is a dark tale of the all to easily plausible future our current technological progression and politics might take us towards. It is set in the 2040’s amid a myriad of political scandals as well as multiple global peace keeping efforts by the U.S. and the web of disturbing events that led up to them.
