Hi there, Merlin Fraser here, I have been a writer off and on for years and to the annoyance of the publishing establishment I don’t stick to any genre for too long.

A while ago I was introduced to the American term "Dust Bunnies", this is what the Americans call the large hairy bits of fluff they find under their beds. Problem was that with my vivid imagination, and a terrible sense of humour I instantly had this image of a whole colony of Dust Bunnies living under my bed.

I created a story called Maggie and the Dust Bunnies to introduce my characters to the world. They call us ’Oomins’, and Maggie is a young Oomin who meets her first Dust Bunny, Floater, while trying to save a spider from a sticky toffee wrapper. What follows is a whole series of adventures for Maggie as Floater takes her further into his world to meet his friends.
