Premise of book-

After an extinction level event, the human population, now a small minority, must strike out to find a suitable planet to rebuild. Plagued by diseases, new creatures from their own planet and an unexpected enemy from the sky, the future of the human race looks bleak as they face a force like nothing they have seen before.
