I worked in television for many years and ended up in a corporate head office. I’ve written mostly scripts and I’m now trying to write prose. It’s a difficult transition, but I feel I’m improving - slowly.

Ethics and Other Forgotten Niceties came out of my working experiences. What would happen if a naïve, sheltered young man suddenly got his foot in the door of a multi-national company and learned the wrong lessons as he rose up the corporate ladder? What sort of person would he become? How long would he be able to resist the easier path to the top?

Bailey Farren is that middle class, privileged young man, taking his first steps into the world. He falls in love with Jenna, a young woman tempered by her parent’s divorce. He befriends Kylie a relapsing drug addict. These two help him decode the world, and push him to experience life’s temptations - But will Bailey have the strength of character to avoid becoming an addict to corporate success?
