Hello there everyone. My name is Ulysses Harper. Most people just call me Harper. I came up with the idea for Eternity’s Song during drama class my junior year of high school. As part of my final I had to do a monologue for a character that I would have to create and the scene had to contain some kind of conflict and a resolution to the conflict. My final two ideas at the time were a dog who’s owner had to take him to the pound because his girlfriend did not like the dog but decided to keep the dog regardless, and an immortal man filled with anguish over seeing humanity and those he loved lost to time as the world ends.Due to my teacher finding the latter to depressing and to hard of a concept for my classmates to get, I ended up doing the one about the dog.
