Dragons wreak havoc across the kingdom, attacking towns and burning them to the ground. No one knows why they have suddenly become so aggressive. When soldiers march into Grendale, the villagers wonder if they were heading to kill some of the dragons. Instead the entire village is taken prisoner.

Rebecca was only 8 years old, hiding from her brothers, when the soldiers came. Fleeing her home as it was burned to the ground, she was left with nothing but a knife and a toy shield. She might not have survived if it wasn’t for Malchiorn, an old friend of her father’s and a wizard.

Years pass as they travel the kingdom, seeking to make Rebecca a Dragon Knight. To do so, she must risk her life, facing a deadly dragon who is ready and willing to tear her apart, to form a Blood Bond with it.

Thanks to my amazing sister who hand drew the cover in about 10 minutes. I spent 2 days coloring it in with colored pencils (since it was either that or nothing) and I think it turned out great!
