Discussion

Hello everyone!

I hope that the weekend is finding you well. It doesn’t look like I will be hitting my goal. Dirt Face has about 9 days left. However, I wanted to express a giant thank you to everyone who took the time to read, give feedback, and support my dream. You all are the best kind of people!

I am not sure what my next steps will be in getting my novel published. I’ve been in contact with a few literary agents so there is still hope that my dreams of getting Dirt Face published will go completed.

Cheers everyone and thank you for supporting my dream! I look forward to reading your books and hope you all luck in getting your dreams published.

Sincerely,
K. Charles Moore

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great time celebrating Independence day here in the states. Dirt Face is coming along nicely and I just got an email that it was chosen as the Write Out Loud Syndicate pick!!!

This is exciting news and I am extremely grateful for the backing. The protagonist of Dirt Face is non-gender-specific and in my opinion a hero of life much like all of my personal friends and well all of you!

If you haven’t yet please read and share Dirt Face. I have published 13 chapters and the end is very important. It has been a dream of mine to get this published. I thank all of you who have supported me so far. To the rest give it a read and order a copy now.

Thank you and have a beautiful week!

Hello Everyone!

Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope the midweek is treating you great today. As my update yesterday promised chapter 13 is available to read at https://www.inkshares.com/books/dirt-face/book_segments/chapter-13-d7b719.

Chapter 13 holds some very unexpected events. Our protagonist meets a love interest that incites seemingly irrational emotions. The brief encounter with the Left Siders leader, Luke will shape the the final chapters of the book. I don’t want to give away too much but has our portraitist finally found happiness? Read chapter 13 now to find out.

Excerpts from chapter 13:

"The light reflects off the small minerals from the dust that has collected upon her face, she sparkles in the moonlight. She’s a star beneath the night sky."

"I’m holding Zac’s entire finger down to the knuckle that would’ve joined his hand."

"It’s as if my life just began. In one beautiful moment I exist, born dead only to find life at this second."

This will be the final chapter I will be sharing before any final edits and publication. If you want to know how the story will end please pre-order and share at https://www.inkshares.com/books/dirt-face or as OMC would say, "Hey, buy the rights."

Thank you all for following my novel, Dirt Face.

Hey everyone,

I hope the week is treating you wonderful. I will be sharing chapter 13 of my my novel tomorrow and it will be the last chapter I share until the book is in final edit and published. So if you want to read the rest help me reach my funding goals by ordering a copy or sharing with your friends.

Chapter 11 is action packed with sex, violence, and of course drug use. Our protagonist is put in a very vulnerable position that shapes the continued story. Events begin to unravel and this chapter is just a new beginning.

Excerpt from chapter 11: "Exhausted and sore I sweep away the glass and lay down on the blood stained bed. I stare at the ceiling until it leaves my focus. A blurry background to the night’s memories playing out like a savage movie. A crime scene becomes my cradle."

Hello everyone,

I hope the week is treating you wondrously. I have uploaded chapter 11 of Dirt Face at https://www.inkshares.com/books/dirt-face. If you have not read any chapters up until this point this is the chapter you need to read.

Chapter 11 is action packed with sex, violence, and of course drug use. Our protagonist is put in a very vulnerable position that shapes the continued story. Events begin to unravel and this chapter is just the beginning.

Excerpts from chapter 11:

"I still don’t know her name but her body is in love with me. We make love as if it’s our last night alive. Lying naked, we gaze into each other’s eyes, briefly accepting every secret and imperfection as we drift asleep together."

"THUNK Ting! A-a-a-a-a-h-h-h-h, a high-pitched scream shook my consciousness awake as I felt a dull pain fill my head and glass shower down upon my body. I jump up surrounded by five young individuals’ possibly 18 years old a few appear younger. My attention quickly jumps to the screaming naked girl sitting on my bed."

"Exhausted and sore I sweep away the glass and lay down on the blood stained bed. I stare at the ceiling until it leaves my focus, a blurry background to the night’s memories playing out like a savage movie. A crime scene becomes my cradle."

Hey Everyone! I hope you are getting ready to enjoy a great weekend. I have uploaded the latest chapter of Dirt Face to https://www.inkshares.com/books/dirt-face

Chapter 10 has our protagonist meeting some local law enforcement when they show up to the house, making for an emotionally paranoid evening. Mark and Rebecca show up to lighten the mood. Cocaine fuels confidence as the evening turns to night.

Chapter excerpt: "High and burning with verve I hold the confidence and energy to be bold. I’ve always had a problem with confidence, exchanging its definition for that of imperious. I’ve never commanded the belief that I am something more or better than anyone else. I know who I am but there’s not always confidence in knowing yourself."

Hey everyone! I finally had a moment to put up Chapter 9. It’s been a busy weekend and I hope you all had a fun one!

Chapter 9 puts our protagonist in a position to face a recent fear. Will this have an impact that significantly shapes the mind and structure of our protagonist? Find out by reading the latest chapter of Dirt Face available now at https://www.inkshares.com/books/dirt-face

Chapter excerpt:  "My head is distant and the texture of the fields wrap around my body. Everything is warm and nothing else is of consequence. I drift through a state of consciousness with the light of the room breaking upon my face. The moment is paradise."

Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day weekends. I was hoping to put a chapter out but was very occupied with my lovely daughter all weekend.

However, I was able to upload chapter 8 tonight. Our protagonist recently made a friend in Zac but will Zac stick around? Is our protagonist too much for Zac’s seemingly laid-back way of life?

Spend some time in the head of our young protagonist trying to find a purpose. All while developing an identity shaped by drug use and small town life. Read it now and pre-order your copy!

Hey all, thank you for the support. I published the seventh chapter of Dirt Face. Our protagonist makes a possible love connection and Mark flirts with danger. A few excerpts are below to get you started. Read it now and remember to order a copy!

LSD awakens the consciousness to a point of brief insanity and life becomes meaningful when faced with the alternative. We’re all born to die.

Lust finds what love wants and right now Mark wants a dangerous love connection.

For love, this debt is doubled. Love means sharing another’s burden of life and accepting that you must work twice as hard to die alone. However, being in love can make you forget that you’re unhappy at least from time to time.

Once we hit 200 pre-orders I will be giving away a copy of the classic Sega CD game Night Trap.
