I have written a historical fiction novel, and it was fun. Then I went back to reading science fiction and thought, how much more fun could this be?

The answer is quite a lot. I’ve really enjoyed bringing "Denizen’s of Dump" to life, and I am still enjoying it now I’m halfway through the first draft. The freedom of no historical accuracy and modern medical care. Characters die less yet can be injured more severely!

As for myself there is little to tell. I’ve written for a long time now, a fact that always alarms me, and I’ve finished one novel which I found rather harder to publish. I work, I hike, and I write. Occasionally I get brave and do stuff like this.

As a reader, I’m loving being part of Sword and Laser, who waved this website under my nose, and have taught me to read two books a month. The one they picked, and the one I picked!

As for this novel, I’ll let it speak for itself. Enjoy the first chapter!
