Back Cover Blurb (first draft)
We have destroyed our planet. Now nothing remains but the dome, the final beacon of humanity.
The city-state of Singapore is protected from the harsh, unlivable climate outside, self-sufficient and automated this bustling diverse metropolis is all that stands to prove Earth was once inhabited by over 9 billion people. Life under the dome is all anyone knows, but some wonder if it is truly all that’s left.
One night when Ferrin and his friends, a group of thrill seekers undeterred by the nightly oxygen curfew, venture out into the condemned Woodlands District, Ferrin uncovers a secret that causes him to question generations of tradition and beliefs. A discovery that blurs the lines of duty and honesty and forces him to face a question much bigger than himself: what is the price for truth?
Thanks Everyone!
Thanks to everyone who followed Deep Breath when it was just a fledgling idea so new to the world, which I am now determined to bring to fruition! Granted, as of right now, I have another book I am about halfway done writing so I can’t focus all my energies into Deep Breath just yet, but when I do I promise you’ll all hear about it. My goal is to put out a (edited) chapter a week in October, once my palate is cleared of my current project. From there it’ll be up to you guys to help me along! Questions, comments, concerns, anything! So don’t think you followed a dud, Deep Breath will come to life, just give her a little time.
About me!
So, my name is Hannah and I love to write, bet you couldn’t have guessed that! I write short and flash science fiction and fantasy and as of now I have been published once, in DSF (though it is forthcoming). Asides from writing I love to read, dance, box, learn Polish, and daydream about buffalo chicken pizza (which I really miss, they don’t have it in Poland). I think Inkshares is the bee’s knees and I plan and writing many more books to crowdfund in the future. So thanks for reading, feel free to follow me too, and if you have the desire you’re welcome to check out my website: hcbialic.com.
