Back on the site and seeing if I can generate any interest. I love to share the story and would like to hear feedback from any readers here.

Thanks to everybody visiting and pushing a pre-order through, I’m getting my sales count up a little higher. I’m hoping that this will continue for the next bunch of days. I’ve met with the artist today that is working on my cover art and I’ve adjusted the direction he is going with it and right now, I’m looking forward to getting to see a final product.

I’m pushing towards the end and passed 110k words and I’m trying to get to a point where the novel can end with the promise of more. I can’t believe that at this point in the word count in my draft, the timeline was further down the road and there were several characters who had died that haven’t reached that point of finality. If you’re looking for a solid science fiction piece about humans fighting non-human sentient species then you’ve come to the right story. Read the first four chapters above and sign up to protect against the genocide of humanity.

I’ve hit 100k words and I’m nearing the end. The final battle is in the works and the casualties are mounting. Who will live and who will die is the current question for those still in the ranks of the Raptor Battalion.

I’ve decided to update one of my glossary entries. This time, I’m going to highlight the Viol transport. It’s called a Pocket transport by the humans. This ship is named after the space expansion technology developed by Viol scientists. Barely a hundred meters in length, the Pocket transport has been engineered to carry five thousand Echelon for planetary deployment.Propelled by four ion engines located in the stern, a fifth generator is located in the center of the vessel and dedicated to the powering of the pocket space where the troops are located in. Shields are present, but power is usually generated to the engines, cloak and the space for its cargo. Pocket space is capable of being shaped into the needed room for any of the species in need of transport. Pilots are filled by the species Frynar.

Great and thank you for those who have just pre-ordered. If everybody shared on their FB thank you again, and if you haven’t, come back to this site and click on the recommend button at the top of the page. It’ll push a link into your network and get my book out there. You know that you have science-fiction friends that enjoy reading. Send them my way and explain how a pre-order supports the author (me) in getting his work published.

There is currently a book cover in production and is waiting for completion.  A rough sketch is going to be uploaded by the end of the week (Saturday?) But from there, additional work will be made and a better looking one will be produced. Right now, it is going to be a view of the Princess in a street of the capital looking away with a view of the planet’s three moons and the fleets of both sides in orbit.
Work on my website is slow as I lack the talent in digital graphic work and I refuse to cobble something together of other people’s work that are misrepresentations of what final products of the book will be. Various features concerning details on characters and a glossary of tech and vics are going to be included with the final product. I know I’m excited to psudo-publish my work like that, I just hope that I continue to increase my following for people to pre-order in time.

I’m working on getting a website up for my series and if anybody has read and enjoyed the chapters, if I could get a review to post up on my site from you, the readers, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I do understand that it might start out a little more slow than what some first chapters contain, but the first chapter develops the setting for the war and I think that’s important for the rest of the story as I don’t focus on the reasons behind the war so much as humanity fighting for their survival. One of the big parts of this is that war is not a happy ending and there are deaths throughout the story no matter who is fighting. Hundreds of thousands of both sides die and I paint a picture of the Viol being a vicious race of being that hate humanity.
There are more species that I haven’t added to my updates yet, and I’ll get into the descriptions of them at a later time. For now, here are brief descriptions; Dragoons: Viol war beasts nearly 10 meters in length. Frynar: Viol pilots. Ho-Tan: Brutish sentient creature  the size of a "LotR Balrog" without the wings. Unias: Viol special forces barely a meter high with a heightened sixth sense which allows them to avoid incoming fire. Fhantom: A winged war beast that is nearly invisible during flight.
I do have backgrounds already written for each of them and I’ll be getting into it at a later date.
Please read if you’re a fan of science fiction and review what you think of it, you won’t be disappointed!

As with my last entry, I remarked about the different human elements that are a part of the story. A little about the Viol species that are encountered. If I remember correctly, I established that the Viol Nations are a group of twenty-three different species. In all, there are seven or eight species that are encountered in the first book with the rewrite. I could probably write up glossary type additions for all of the species, but as they’re not really pertinent, I will maintain focus on the ones that are listed.
Macheleon - A sentient species which makes up the leadership class of the Viol military. They are found on the front lines of the ground fights as well as the commanders of the Viol Cruisers in the space battles. They’re one of the more intelligent of the Nations, though what they lack in strategy on the field, they make up for in the numbers.
Echelon - Classified as a subspecies to the Macheleon, the Echelon are in fact juvenile Macheleon. While they are produced genetically and not cloned, they are "birthed" in large numbers at a near full size of when they’re fielded in the war. Because of the large numbers, their multiple homeworlds suffer with food shortages which is a reason for the shipping out of so many of their "young". It takes a year of training to field a Echelon after birth and ten years to reach a maturity which would allow their "promotion" to a Macheleon. There is very little growth between an Echelon and Macheleon along with very few features changing that is visible outside of the armor giving the species very little distinction. However, they wear different armor in order to distinguish the ranks within the units. A full unit is made up of a hundred and twenty Echelon and they are divided evenly between four ranks. Each rank is commanded by two Macheleon.
I didn’t realize that I was going to put so much of the Echelon and Macheleon. I’ll update on more species at another time. For now, thanks for reading.
