Since leaving Koorxox in the galaxy MACS J1149+2223 due to persecution related to trumped-up charges of insurgency, I have been learning the English and German languages through attempting to write stories in said languages. This current novel is an attempt at the English language in the style of your existential writers of the mid to late 20th Century (Earth Chronology).
The poetic as opposed to prosaic writing style may seem pretentious. This is entirely deliberate in an attempt to understand the expressionism of the human race. The thoughts and descriptions of the human boy, Richard, are written in an assuming manner. Any suggestions from natives to this galaxy (except from Proximi Centaurians - we all know how we feel about each other from my last novel attempt on exoplanet Proxima C) would be sincerely appreciated, especially from homo sapiens sapiens with the mother tongue of English.
So, take a look at the book and, if you find the writing a little too Koorxoxian, please use your English language expertise to critique and improve my attempt at your artform of the "Novel".
Thank you.
Regards,
Ian Cox (Koor Xox 222)
