OMG! the EPIC is DONE! well, book one at least. current title is now Burn It Down: A Book of Brothers, Vol. 1. I’ve printed out the beast (102k words when I finally stopped) and will now get to editing! thanks for hanging in there!
So I uploaded chapter 2 and wanted to let everyone know that Part 2 is complete and I’m partway into part 3. This thing is definitely epic as I’ve just crossed 101k words and slightly more than halfway through. chapters have been merging here and there so I think I’ll end up with about 160-170k in the end. I’m going to doing another campaign, but not until I get closer to the end, probably in a couple of months. Hope everyone’s having a great summer! :D
I know I sent an update a little while ago, but I can’t quite remember what I said and there’s no way (that I found) to check. I think it was just an "I’m still working on this" kinda thing so I wanted to give you some more detail. :o)
Part 1 of book 1 (this has turned into a 4-5 books series eek!) is completed and now with my editor (this is going to be so damn long that she wanted the parts as I completed them)! Also, I’m about 4 chapters into part 2. There will be 4 parts to this book, thought part 4 isn’t too long. I’ve had to take time to work on other things (also a scriptwriter and April-May is fellowship season) which is why this is taking so long.
So in about a week I can go back to working on this full time and I’m stoked! I’ll be going to the Writers Digest Conference in August so it WILL be completed by then as I’m going to be on the hunt for an agent for it at the conference.
Just a heads up that this project is still humming along despite so RL interruptions. I uploaded the actual Chapter 1 and took down the prologue that no longer applies if you wish to read it. Thanks for the support! :D
