Blend is a contemporary fantasy novel which chronicles how the world changed when fantasy beings such as orcs, trolls, elves and dwarves suddenly blended in with humanity.

I’ve loved fantasy and sci-fi my entire life. I’ve always gravitated towards the world building aspects of fantasy and in Blend, I endeavored to create a scenario which shows the tearing down of an old world and the creation of another. In Blend we see the socioeconomic problems that orcs face due to their incredibly impulsive nature. We see the lowdown brinksmanship of a xenophobic elven nation. We meet trolls who face public scrutiny on a constant basis just because they look kinda gnarly, (and the whole people eating thing). Then, there are the dwarves...

This book is important to me because I firmly believe that you, your friends, and some of your mother’s friends, will love this story and want to live in the world we’ve built. I have never been as proud and excited about anything I have written as much as I am about Blend.
