Trees strangle the ruins of civilization and monsters wander within.

A peasant, Evan Everard, is called back to his childhood home to enter the service of tyrannical Grandmother Truth. Forced to don the crimson hood and wield a silver pistol as a Red, Everard is assigned as a partner to Taya, a childhood flame who has been turned into one of the most dangerous weapons alive, a Wolf.

Bitten and infected with a bioweapon disease from a war long finished, Taya is doomed to transform into a monstrous beast at the barest touch of moonlight on her skin, and defend Grandmother to the death. Once transformed, hatred and cruelty are the only known things that can cut through Taya’s animal madness and bring her under Everard’s control.

But as Everard and Taya are swept into Grandmother’s pilgrimage across a landscape of ruins, trees and broken humans, they begin to feel there is something binding them, something stronger than the harsh rule of cruelty they have been instructed to obey.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Well, this is it, my passion project. I’ve finally decided to share it with the world. I want Big Bad Beautiful to be an immersive experience, one that can fully bring a reader into the world I have created.
