The legends of the Norse gods have been retold for centuries, with Odin, Loki, and many others having both ardent fans and detractors. But there is a voice, vital to the rise of Ragnarok, that is perpetually ignored...until now.

In Beneath Yggdrasil’s Roots, Hel finally speaks from the realm of the dead: about her exile from the Aesir, her rise to becoming a powerful goddess in her own right, and her hold on Baldr that ushers in the end of the nine worlds.

This is an idea I’ve had for a while. What I thought would only be a short story is rapidly becoming a full-length novel that I look forward to sharing with other fantasy and mythology enthusiasts.
