Quick Summary of Dawn of the Raven Goddess:

The story of a proud warrior Vara Corvidae forced to be a Gladiatrix in the cruel Domari Imperial Circus. Her sister Draka Corvidae leader of the Corvidae tribe in the Temera Mountains will embark on a treacherous journey to retrieve her sister from enemy hands. Along the way Draka will face monsters, sorcery, and war. Will she be able to rescue Vara before she dies in the Arena? Or will the Domari finally conquer the Free Tribes of Temera?

The Longer Story:

In the Lands of Domarus and Temera there are two ruling forces: The Domari, an advanced society full of Imperial politics and power plays and to the West in Temera Mountains are the Free Tribes. Five tribes united by their oath to the deities of ancient Temera and their warrior culture. These are:

-The Corvidae- The children of the Raven Goddess

-The Canidae- The children of the Wolf Goddess

-The Ursidae- The children of the Bear God

-The Felidae- The children of the Lion God

-The Lutrinae- The children of the Otter Goddess

The most powerful among the tribes is the Corvidae. Their leader Draka is one of the most feared and beloved warriors among her people and their allies. The fact she is a woman draws both contempt and terror from the Domari and their tyrannical Imperator as the Domari only value their women as slaves and brood mares.

When Vara is captured she presents the Domari with a rare bargaining chip that could force the Free Tribes to surrender key holdings in Temera. The fate of their world is in Draka and Vara’s hands.
