About Awakening:

Anabeth Caerhart is a young lady who’s been in and out of foster homes her whole life. When she’s abruptly moved to a new home, Hunt Manor, Anabeth finds herself leaving behind friends she loved and a life she was comfortable with. In it’s place, she finds herself transported to a palatial estate where everything is strange from the clothing the girls wear to the Director and her husband who run the Manor. But it is here, amid the oddities, that Ana discovers a magical Underworld filled with spells and magi and finds that she is a major player - a magi in her own right. Can Anabeth learn her magic before the Director takes it away from her forever? With few people to trust and no where to run, it becomes a game of cat and mouse where the clock is ticking down to a final confrontation.

About the Author:

Michelle Morone is currently a high school mathematics teacher with a life-long dream of becoming a published fantasy author. She loves to read and draw and write, of course. Awakening is her first book and the first book in the Anabeth Caerhart series. The second book, Netherworld, is currently in development and up on Inkshares as a draft.
