In 2009, I almost made the biggest mistake of my life: throwing away everything I’d ever written and giving up. My grandmother, Lillian, made me promise instead that I would publish someday.
These poems take a chronological journey from ages 13 to 30 (2002 - 2020) and act as a travelogue and enigmatic memoir of the first 18 years of the new Millenium.
Readers can help shape this draft by following it and showing it support while I upload the poems in chronological order.
A lifelong friend of mine (who is also a professional artist) is painting the cover that we will then scan. We will be able to use the scan to make prints of the painting as well.
I am so grateful to everyone that has helped me come this far and for the opportunity to finally share these poems with the world.
