This is the fourth installment in my "Expats" series, but it can be read independently of the other novels. I’m trying to re-invent the spy novel. My hero, Paul Lindstrom, is a former Pararescue Jumper who finally got his dream job with the CIA. He is part of a black bag crew, agents who break into someone’s apartment and introduce surveillance malware into the victim’s electronic devices. When a seemingly smooth operation in Berlin goes south, his employer starts suspecting him - something that Lindstrom thinks he can handle. But his problems deteriorate when he finds heroin in his car and one of his friends ends up on a no-fly-list. Lindstrom would be screwed if it wasn’t for the help he gets from his new Native American acquaintances. The novel is set in Berlin, the US and Estonia. It will be finished beginning of October. I had a lot of fun writing it, and I would kill for some feedback!
