I love short stories. I love how so much can be crafted into such a limited number of paragraphs.

A Dark Light is my attempt do do just that. I am a very active dreamer and I tend to remember everything from the last dream of the night. It would be cool to remember the hundreds that happen during a particular night, but then I’d run out of space for the gigs of movie trivia I need make it through the day.

As long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to write. Unlike some I abandoned the dream and took other paths in life. Early on I was discouraged from taking risks or pursuing fanciful things.

Now that I’m older and prone to regretting past mistakes, I’ve decided to make an effort, take a chance.

As a result, I’ve written many short stories and finished (the draft) of a novel.

A Dark Light starts out with "The Dreameater." I wrote this because I’ve always wondered what would happen if I had gotten trapped in the dream-world, with my memories taken away and the only new ones were the emptiness of my own mind.
